About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, Asian FX Trader to join our team at Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG). As a key member of our emerging markets team, you will be responsible for providing expert trading solutions to our clients in Asian currencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement trading strategies to maximize revenue and minimize risk in Asian currencies.
  • Provide market analysis and insights to clients and internal stakeholders to inform trading decisions.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with key clients.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of client interactions, trades, and market data.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes that may impact trading activities.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in FX trading, with a focus on Asian currencies.
  • Proven track record of generating revenue and managing risk in emerging markets.
  • Strong understanding of FX markets, including macroeconomic indicators, technical analysis, and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
