Senior Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist to join our team at IQVIA Argentina, where you will play a key role in ensuring the highest quality laboratory operations. As a technical specialist, you will be responsible for driving continuous process improvement initiatives and providing technical expertise to support laboratory operations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and document analytical procedures with accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in accordance with current standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct routine and moderately complex data analysis to determine if analytical procedures are proceeding as expected and results are within acceptable tolerances.
- Identify and document potential performance errors or unusual results and escalate to senior lab personnel.
- Provide hands-on training for other Laboratory staff in areas of proven competency as assigned.
- Lead routine quality investigations and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure assays are sustainable and scalable in laboratory operations.
- Provide advanced knowledge to support technical inquiries and lead troubleshooting projects, including root cause analysis and advanced problem solving.
- Produce analytical documentation for laboratory assays and associated pipelines across all service areas in the business.
- Identify and lead continuous process improvement initiatives for laboratory operations, including review of laboratory metrics and establishment of additional metrics such as cost savings.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- More than 4 years of experience in a regulated laboratory.
- Working knowledge of applicable governing regulatory requirements.
- Strong knowledge of applicable lab techniques.
- Proficiency with laboratory calculations regarding batches and specimens.
- Ability to maintain a minor degree of independence to complete assigned tasks and projects.
