ATA Recruitment is excited to collaborate with a prominent global organization located in Purfleet. This company stands as a leader in the processing sector, converting over 3,000 tonnes of raw materials into packaged goods daily for distribution to various clients, including major supermarket chains and fast-food franchises. The organization is committed to continual investment in its facilities, allocating approximately £15 million annually towards new machinery and equipment enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Engineer, your primary responsibilities will encompass:
- Responding promptly to equipment failures to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Common issues may involve motor malfunctions, conveyor belt disruptions, and compressor breakdowns.
- Executing scheduled maintenance tasks in accordance with the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), which includes activities such as bearing and sprocket replacements.
- Engaging with a variety of mechanical and electrical components, including over 200 motors, and performing electrical fault diagnostics involving relays, sensors, and more. Mechanical tasks will include: bearings, belts, pulleys, gearboxes, among others.
- Conducting root cause analysis to foster continuous improvement within the facility.
