Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

Are you a seasoned Quantity Surveyor looking to take on a new challenge in the residential development sector? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Kenton Black, a leading residential developer in the Midlands region.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of residential projects, from concept to completion. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for preparing cost plans, managing budgets, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will work closely with our site managers, commercial managers, and clients to resolve any contractual or commercial disputes that may arise.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare cost plans and progress reports for residential projects
  2. Manage budgets and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  3. Resolve contractual and commercial disputes with clients and subcontractors
  4. Valuations, variations, and negotiations
  5. Optimise project costs while maintaining quality

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in a relevant field and at least 7-10 years of experience in Senior Quantity Surveying within the residential housing sector. You will also need to have a proven track record of managing the commercial aspects of residential housing projects.
