Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Accountant (Service Charge - Commercial) to join our thriving property team at Page Personnel Finance. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient financial management of service charge accounts within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain service charge accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with RICS regulations.
- Prepare and review service charge budgets.
- Produce client statements and any additional reports required.
- Manage VAT reporting.
- Collaborate with the property management team to resolve accounts queries.
- Liaise with external accountants on production of year-end accounts where necessary.
Requirements
- A strong educational background in accounting or finance.
- Commercial service charge experience / Commercial Property Management Accounts.
- RICS knowledge is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the property industry.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- An understanding of relevant industry regulations.
