About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Advisor to join our close-knit and sociable in-house legal team based in Bromley. As a Legal Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dynamic team in navigating the legal landscape as we continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Review and Negotiation: Review and negotiate third-party agreements, including non-disclosure agreements, non-competition agreements, and supplier contracts.
  • Client Liaison: Attend client meetings and liaise directly with clients to support the sales team in winning new business and negotiating terms.
  • Dispute Resolution: Manage and resolve national and international legal disputes, including contractual issues, employment matters, debt recovery, and court documentation preparation.
  • Internal Escalation Point: Act as the first escalation point for legal and contractual queries internally.
  • Work Permit Management: Oversee and support the work permit application process, coordinating with local immigration partners as needed.
  • Team Management: Manage and mentor a Junior Legal Advisor, ensuring their training and development within the legal team.
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced Legal Advisor with a strong understanding of contract law and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Legal Advisor, Senior In-House Paralegal, or in a similar role.
  • A strong understanding of contract law.
  • Experience supervising In-House Paralegals/Junior Legal Advisors would be beneficial.
