About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Land Referencer to join our dynamic team at Dalcour Maclaren. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in the Utilities and Infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a primary point of contact for affected parties, communities, and organisational delivery teams to successfully submit Development Consent Order (DCO) and Compulsory Purchase Order (CPOs) Books of Reference.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and GIS Specialists to collect, interpret, and review land ownership data for presentation to clients in various formats.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of land ownership data by identifying, extracting, verifying, and uploading relevant information to our internal land referencing database.
  • Develop strong relationships with project stakeholders through site visits and meetings to record and update land ownership data.
  • Receive comprehensive training and ongoing mentoring in our client's specific areas of expertise, enabling you to develop your Land Referencing knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • A degree in a field related to land, such as Geography, Geospatial Science, Estate or Property Management, Planning, Land or Property Law.
  • Excellent IT skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to manage large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Awareness of GIS (desirable).
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site and project locations.
  • A team player with a can-do attitude.
