We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Sheridan Ward Recruitment Services. As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in the management of their construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and Submission of Tenders: Assist in the preparation and submission of tenders for construction projects, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Liaison with Supply Chain Teams: Liaise with supply chain teams and external suppliers to ensure that all necessary materials and services are procured in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Cost Management: Assist in the management of project costs, including the calculation of project costs for materials, contractors, and payments.
- Project Documentation: Assist in the formulation of project documentation, including contracts, invoices, and other necessary documents.
Requirements:
- 2-3 Years of Work Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in an office-based role, preferably in a construction or quantity surveying environment.
- Mathematical Skills: Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to work with numerical data and spreadsheets.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
