Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely Operate a 7.5 Tonne Vehicle: Ensure the secure transportation of equipment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct Daily Vehicle Checks: Verify the road worthiness and compliance of the vehicle with legal requirements.
  • Accurately Load and Unload Equipment: Meet health and safety regulations and ensure the safe handling of equipment.
  • Collect and Return Equipment: Transport equipment from Colnbrook depot to Heathrow Airport terminal and vice versa.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Document collections and returns, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Liaise with Airport Equipment Team: Collaborate with the airport equipment team to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Represent the company in a professional manner at all times, providing exceptional service to clients.

Requirements:

  • Valid 7.5 Tonne License: Possess a valid 7.5 tonne license, with a good geographical understanding of Heathrow airport.
  • HIAB License: Ideally hold a HIAB license, enhancing your ability to operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle.
  • Full CPC Qualification: Possess a full CPC qualification, demonstrating your commitment to professional development.
  • Previous Experience: Have previous experience as a 7.5 tonne driver, with a strong understanding of logistics and transportation.
  • Communication Skills: Possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Full 5-Year Referenceable History: Have a full 5-year referenceable history, with the ability to obtain a clear DBS.
