**Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Support Specialist to provide essential support to children and their families subject to a LON4 assessment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Deliver tailored interventions to address the specific needs of families, helping to ensure their well-being and stability.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals and services to support families.
  • Conduct outreach and home-based support to address identified needs.
  • Maintain accurate and reflective records in accordance with Recording with Care guidelines.
  • Support parents in meeting the needs of their children by working closely with Health, Education, Children's Centres, and other agencies.
  • Communicate effectively with children, families, and multi-disciplinary teams across various settings.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team to ensure high-quality service delivery.

**Requirements:**

  • NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education, NND, or Health and Social Care qualification.
  • Experience working directly with children, young people, and families.
  • Proven experience in multi-agency working and delivering home-based support.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain detailed and accurate records.
  • Full UK driving license, access to a car, and laptop.

**Desirable:**

  • Knowledge of child development and child protection issues.
  • Experience delivering practical parenting strategies.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with parents and professionals.
