Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at a fantastic special school. The successful candidate will provide support to students with a range of special needs and disabilities, including ASD, SLD, Complex Needs, PMLD, MLD, and SEMH.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide general classroom support and 1-1 support to specific students
  • Work with students with a range of special needs and disabilities
  • Be flexible and adaptable in a 'floating' role, providing cover across different classes
  • Work well as part of a team and be a naturally good team player
Requirements:
  • Experience working with special needs and disabilities (preferably within a school setting)
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a 'floating' role
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
