Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to join our team at GXO Logistics, Inc. As a key member of our delivery team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery Operations: Assist the delivery driver in parking and maneuvering a company vehicle, as well as loading and unloading of vehicles as required.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service while ensuring goods are delivered in excellent condition.
  • Communication: Ensure that customers are kept informed of their estimated time of delivery and any issues are communicated in a polite and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience of dealing with multi-drop home delivery is preferred but not essential.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal.
  • Physical Demands: Willingness to complete manual handling tasks such as pulling, lifting, and pushing.
  • Problem-Solving: Can-do attitude with a knack for problem-solving.
  • Security Clearance: Willingness to undertake pre-employment Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS Check).
