Key Responsibilities
  1. Electrical Installation and Maintenance: Conduct high and low voltage installation work on various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  2. Site Performance Analysis: Analyze site performance to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize ongoing operations.
  3. Electrical Design and Specification: Design and specify high and low voltage electrical systems, collaborating with subcontracted designers for high voltage design.
  4. Fault Identification and Resolution: Identify, record, and respond to faults in a proactive and problem-solving manner.
  5. Design and Reporting: Complete designs and reports for electrical projects.
  6. Asset Management: Review and monitor all asset-managed renewable energy sites on a rotational basis, including weekend coverage.
Essential Requirements
  1. Qualifications: Hold a City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent qualification, along with a Level 3 Technical and Vocational Qualification or Level 3 Diploma.
  2. Industry Standards: Possess knowledge of BS7671 18th Edition and have high voltage experience.
  3. Soft Skills: Demonstrate a methodical, accurate, and process-focused approach, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  4. Computer Literacy: Be proficient in computer software and possess a driving license.
  5. Flexibility: Be willing to work throughout the UK, including evenings and weekends, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the renewables industry.
Desired Skills
  1. Renewable Energy Experience: Possess experience in PV installation and maintenance, as well as onshore wind.
  2. CAD Skills: Have experience with CAD software.
  3. Communication Systems: Have experience in setting up and configuring communication systems.
  4. High Voltage Authorization: Hold an HV Authorized Person / Switching Course certification.
  5. Electrical Standards: Be familiar with the 18th Edition amendment 2.
