We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, including cranes, in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including cranes, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Read and interpret schematics and diagrams to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on offshore, marine, and port cranes to prevent downtime and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
  • Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed.
Requirements:
  • Apprentice-trained in engineering, electrical, hydraulic, or mechanical fields.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and diagrams to diagnose and repair complex technical issues.
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance on offshore, marine, and port cranes.
  • Experience with load monitoring equipment, including MIPEG and PAT.
  • BOSIET training is an advantage.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • IT literacy and ability to write technical reports.
