Job Title: Lymphedema Specialist

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Lymphedema Specialist to join our medical and aesthetic clinic. This part-time role requires working two days a week, with some flexibility on the days worked. The position offers the opportunity to transition to a full-time role as patient demand increases.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide comprehensive lymphedema assessments, treatment plans, and ongoing management for patients.
  • Perform manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), compression bandaging, and other appropriate therapeutic techniques.
  • Educate patients on self-management techniques and the use of compression garments.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with clinic protocols.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Promote our clinic's services and contribute to patient growth through excellent care and patient education.

**Requirements:**

  • Certified Lymphedema Therapist with relevant qualifications such as a Diploma or Certificate in Lymphatic Therapy from a recognised training provider.
  • Registration with a professional body such as the British Lymphology Society (BLS) or the Lymphoedema Support Network (LSN) is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in lymphedema management techniques and treatments.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to the lymphatic system.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexibility with working days to accommodate patient needs.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

**Salary and Benefits:**
