SmartPro is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment, providing engineering support to all production equipment, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and maintain high-speed production equipment to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance on machinery to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Verify and calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Lead and execute various projects, including new line/machine installations, to improve production efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with internal departments to communicate engineering activity and progress.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in maintenance and repair of high-speed production equipment.
- Knowledge of PLC electrical control systems and high-speed production equipment.
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, with a time-served engineering background or relevant industry qualification.
Benefits:
- An attractive starting salary of £41,891.20 per annum.
- Performance-related bonus (potentially up to £4,500).
