Job Title: 7.5T Delivery Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced 7.5T delivery driver to join our team. As a key member of our delivery and installation team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive their electrical products safely and efficiently.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and Install Electrical Products: Safely deliver and install a range of electrical products, including white goods, televisions, and cookers, into our customers' homes.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Engage with customers, keep them informed, and ensure their delivery and installation is carried out to the highest standard.
  • Manage Delivery Requests: Maintain regular contact with your site throughout the day to meet any changes to a customer delivery request, discussing and escalating unplanned issues as necessary.
  • Liaise with Manufacturers: Liaise with manufacturers at the point of delivery when necessary.
  • Handle Products Safely: Handle all products safely and with care, supporting your colleagues to do the same.
  • Meet Physical Requirements: Meet the physical requirements of the role, including managing changing volumes of load held in the vehicle during the day.
  • Comply with Transport Legislation: Ensure full compliance with all transport legislation and law.
Requirements:
  • Passion for Customer Service: A passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills, both on the phone and face-to-face in our customers' homes.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexibly, alone or collaboratively with colleagues, to ensure we win together.
  • Equipment Handling: Ability to utilise equipment and correctly handle products to ensure best practice for a safe delivery.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to use initiative to problem-solve in a timely and calm manner to ensure both business and customer needs are satisfied.
  • Driving Experience: Previous experience driving a 7.5t vehicle or meet criteria to train toward license.
