ROLE OVERVIEW
As an Occupational Therapist Assistant with Crooton, you will play a vital role in providing essential support that contributes to the comprehensive care our clients' patients require. Your responsibilities will include assisting the Occupational Therapist in guiding patients to navigate the challenges they face in their daily routines. You will be tasked with planning, executing, and assessing both group and individual treatment programs tailored to the needs of each patient.
Your role will be crucial in promoting and maintaining the physical abilities and independence of the patients you assist. You will also be responsible for documenting interactions and observations as necessary, ensuring that each patient's progress is tracked effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
To qualify for the position of Occupational Therapist Assistant, you should possess a Level 2 NVQ in a care-related field or in promoting independence, with a commitment to pursuing a Level 3 NVQ or Level 2 QCF in Healthcare during your employment. We seek a dedicated and empathetic individual with prior experience in a care or customer service setting. Most importantly, you must recognize the significance of privacy, dignity, choice, and consent, and consistently uphold these fundamental rights.
