Role Overview:
As the Assistant Nursery Manager in the Infant Room, you will be instrumental in supporting the Nursery Manager and ensuring the effective operation of the room. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Nursery Manager in the design and implementation of a high-quality educational program in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Taking charge of the Infant Room during the Nursery Manager's absence.
- Providing attentive care to infants, including changing, feeding, and managing sleep schedules.
- Creating and facilitating engaging activities that foster physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
- Monitoring and documenting infants' developmental progress and maintaining accurate records.
- Establishing strong relationships with parents and caregivers, keeping them updated on their child's development.
- Overseeing and mentoring other Early Years Educators within the room.
- Ensuring the overall health and safety of the room environment.
