Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to provide exceptional support to our Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Council Leader.

The successful candidate will provide a professional, responsive, and flexible service that is tailored to the individual needs of the SLT and Council Leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the SLT and Council Leader, including preparing meeting materials, taking minutes, and maintaining records.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, manage diaries, and ensure seamless communication between team members.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including councillors, officers, and external partners.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including confidential and sensitive information.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Highly organised and proactive individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with experience of working in a similar role.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal office hours as required.
