Mobile HGV Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mobile HGV Technician to join our team at Sprint Recruitment Limited. As a Mobile HGV Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out scheduled servicing, inspections, and repairs on a fleet of HGVs and LCV vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out scheduled servicing and inspections on HGVs and LCVs to ensure they are roadworthy and compliant with statutory requirements.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on HGVs and LCVs.
  • Complete all necessary records and documentation related to the inspection, service, and repair of fleet vehicles.
  • Liaise with colleagues and managers to prioritize workload, organize replacement parts, and provide specialist support when required.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Mobile HGV Technician or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HGV mechanics and statutory requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00, with Thursday finishing at 20:00pm and paid overtime from 5pm - 8pm.
