About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Supervisor to join our team at Gov Facility Services Ltd (GFSL). As a General Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our facilities, working closely with a diverse team of professionals to provide a secure and nurturing environment for prisoners, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of facilities management teams to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety requirements, regulations, and policies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve facilities management processes and services.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and address facilities-related issues and concerns.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Previous recognised experience and supervisory skills in facilities management services.
  • Experience of compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements.
  • Relevant professional qualifications in facilities management or project management.
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and people skills.
