We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit & Accounts Senior to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for supporting senior auditors on engagements, preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, and managing client relationships.
About the Role- Work closely with senior auditors to support engagements from planning to completion.
- Prepare and review statutory accounts, as well as reviewing accounts prepared by junior staff.
- Prepare and review tax computations.
- Manage accounting tasks, including management accounting.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, providing exceptional support and service.
- Deliver a strong commercial awareness, reviewing opportunities for fee development.
- Underpin audit and accounts matters with current legislation and compliance.
- Support junior team members by knowledge sharing and supporting their progression.

- Adept at the preparation of statutory accounts.
- Adept at tax computations.
- Experienced in management accounting.

- Excellent work ethic, self-motivated, and reliable.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Able to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and third parties.
