Position Overview

We are in search of a seasoned Finance Director to collaborate with our established leadership and assist the Board in navigating the complexities and opportunities ahead. As a pivotal member of the Executive Leadership Team, this role will be instrumental in shaping and executing the strategic and operational frameworks of the organization. The Finance Director will oversee all financial dimensions of the Group's strategy, ensuring effective communication with the Board Committees.

This is an opportune moment to join The Stowe Group, following the planned retirement of the current Finance Director. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head and will have direct access to the Chair of the Board and the Finance Committee Chair, playing a vital role in advancing the Group's ambitious development initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess a commercial mindset and entrepreneurial spirit, ensuring that the Group's financial resources and systems align with its educational and philanthropic goals. A qualified accountant with a strong background in strategic business planning, the candidate should also demonstrate exceptional communication skills and a proven track record in leading high-performing finance teams.
