We are seeking an experienced RICS registered valuer to join our commercial valuations team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will contribute to the growth of our Commercial Valuations business, building client relationships and working with our existing department partners to expand the team.
Main Responsibilities- Work within our valuation team in Birmingham, providing valuations for loan security and financial reporting purposes.
- Carry out inspections, calculate floor and site areas, conduct comparable research, and prepare valuations and development appraisals.
- Contribute to the growth of the business by identifying new business opportunities across the Commercial valuation sector.
- Assist in the delivery of major projects and financial and client reporting.
- Deliver valuation reports in accordance with client instructions and RICS Valuation Standards.
You will be an experienced chartered surveyor and registered valuer with a strong knowledge of valuations across commercial and/or residential assets. You will have good working knowledge of relevant legislation and a strong understanding of the local market to identify new opportunities to grow the business further. Travel will be required in this role, and a driving licence is essential.
