Academics Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Practitioner to work across our partnering primary schools on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-on-one support to a child with complex needs in their educational activities.
- Create and implement individualised learning plans tailored to the specific needs of the pupil.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages the child's confidence and independence.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure consistency and effectiveness in the child's learning experience.
- Monitor and track the progress of the child, adjusting support strategies as needed to address any challenges or barriers to learning.
- Experience working with children with complex needs, preferably in an educational setting.
- Knowledge and understanding of various special educational needs and the strategies to support them effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of children with special needs.
- Relevant qualifications in education, special education, or a related field are desirable but not essential.
