Cardiac Physiologist

We are seeking an experienced Chief Cardiac Physiologist to join our team at the Royal Brompton Hospital. As a key member of our cardiac physiology department, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with cardiac conditions, including pacemaker and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) device implantation and follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, including device implantation, follow-up, and troubleshooting.
- Work collaboratively with senior colleagues to develop and implement training programs for junior staff.
- Participate in quality control and technical audit to ensure clinical excellence.
- Assist in the development of new techniques and technologies in invasive and non-invasive cardiology.
- Contribute to the development of policies and protocols for the pacing department.
- Participate in research and development of new treatments and technologies.
- BSc Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) or recognized equivalent.
- Immediate Life Support (ILS) certification.
- Registration with the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI).
- Membership of the British Heart Rhythm Society (BHRS) or equivalent association.
- At least 2 years of experience in pacing and device implantation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A competitive salary of £51,488 to £57,802 per annum, plus RRP £5,275 pa.
