About the Role

Ramboll is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Commercial Sector Director to join our UK Buildings Market team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and growing our services within the Commercial sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to drive growth and revenue in the Commercial sector
  • Lead large multi-disciplinary project teams to successfully deliver commercial projects
  • Identify and track opportunities in the Commercial sector, both nationally and internationally
  • Influence colleagues to build their careers in the sector, through coaching, mentoring, and recruitment
  • Contribute to the continued evolution and enrichment of Ramboll's technical delivery teams, through innovation, digital advances, and sustainable design
  • Participate in and manage large tenders or proposals
  • Deliver to an agreed revenue target and profitability

About You

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled individual with a strong background in the Commercial sector. You will have a proven track record of delivering commercial projects and a deep understanding of the sector, including associated challenges and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Academic degree or equivalent experience
  • Professional membership of relevant institution
  • Several years of experience with project and/or programme management in the commercial sector
  • In-depth understanding of the commercial sector, including associated challenges and opportunities
  • An innovative mindset and urge to challenge yourself, the clients, and the sector
  • A passion for sustainability and a strong interest in driving change that underpin a sustainable transformation of society
  • Business acumen and ability to build strong relations with internal and external stakeholders
  • Effective communication skills in English
