At SkyBridge U.K. Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team. As a Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development of our state-of-the-art GUI for our ground control station.
Key Responsibilities- Develop software using model-based software development tools such as Matlab/Simulink.
- Design and develop safety-critical aerospace systems, including control systems, navigation, avionics, and ground control systems.
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS), embedded systems, and software-in-the-loop (SIL) or hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation environments.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as DO-178C for software development in aerospace systems.
- Experience with modern software development tools and version control systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
- Experience developing complex systems and strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong experience with one or more programming languages, such as C/C++, Python, or Qt.
- Self-starter, keen learner, ability to work independently with a proactive and flexible mindset.
