Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at St. Bridget's, a vibrant and dynamic service for 38 physically disabled adults in the seaside village of Rustington in West Sussex.
About the Role:As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live fulfilling and independent lives. Your duties will include:
- Assisting with daily life tasks, including personal care, medication, and mealtimes.
- Escorting and assisting customers in and around the service, at external events, and appointments.
- Supporting our Person-Centred approach, encouraging maximum independence and helping to achieve individual aspirations.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Flexibility and creativity in working with customers and their families.
- Ideal experience in personal care (not essential).
- The ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work within rostered hours and participate in an on-call rota where required.

We also offer a night enhancement of £1.50 per hour from 8pm to 7am Monday to Sunday and a weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday.
