About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our UK Infrastructure business, specifically within our specialist Cost & Supply Chain Assurance team. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in reviewing and scrutinizing actual incurred costs, driving supply chain improvement and efficiency for major programmes and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of our service line by participating in bid development and business generation initiatives.
  • Take a lead in refining internal training and product management for the service line, ensuring our team has the necessary skills and expertise to deliver exceptional results.
  • Review construction contractor systems, controls, and processes to provide a comprehensive view of their ways of working, leveraging industry intelligence to identify best practices.
  • Analyze complex construction contracts, applying your expertise to ensure our clients receive the best possible outcomes.
  • Perform data analysis using advanced techniques and tools, such as data visualization and trend/pattern analysis, to inform our assurance and improvement initiatives.
  • Foster strong, professional relationships with clients and stakeholders, built on trust and collaboration.
  • Engage with the supply chain to promote assurance and collaboration at the project/programme level.
Requirements
  • Experience in assurance or audit, preferably in a construction, commercial, or accountancy setting.
  • Contract management expertise, with a preference for NEC3/4 (Option C, E) contracts.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to review and draw insights from large datasets in various formats.
  • Excellent report writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex messages succinctly and effectively.
  • Professional scepticism and the ability to challenge constructively, maintaining independence and integrity.
