Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare Transport Assessments and Transport Statements.
  • Develop and coordinate Travel Plans.
  • Prepare and present technical data and drawings.
  • Conduct junction capacity assessments utilizing ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG.
  • Engage with clients, contractors, and local/national authorities as necessary.
  • Ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of all assigned tasks.
  • Review the quality and accuracy of work produced by junior team members.
  • Collaborate with the team and actively support junior staff in enhancing their technical expertise.
  • Assist Team Leaders in providing thorough advice to clients on Highways & Transport matters, from initial guidance to feasibility studies.
  • Conduct site evaluations and design surveys, contributing to written reports and presentation materials.
  • Maintain up-to-date electronic and paper files on projects.
  • Support other related tasks as directed by your Team Leader.

Qualifications:
  • Degree in a relevant field: Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with UK Transport Planning standards and processes.
  • Membership in the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (MCIHT).

Technical Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Strong numerical skills with a solid understanding of spreadsheets.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (desirable).
  • Experience with ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG.

  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to effectively communicate findings from complex data.
