Job Title: Analytical Scientist

We are seeking an experienced Analytical Scientist to join our team at Eurofins UK PSS. As an Analytical Scientist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our analytical data and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify instrument calibration and service data for multiple analytical instruments and equipment.
  • Author and update reports, SOPs, and calibration protocols to ensure compliance with GMP regulations.
  • Support internal audits and regulatory inspections to maintain quality systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce new equipment and technology.
  • Document data according to client policies and procedures.
  • Ensure 100% ethical work standards and continually review best practices for commercial and quality issues.
  • Communicate with clients and designated personnel to resolve queries and concerns.
  • Work flexibly with multiple project teams to meet client requirements.
  • Support less experienced staff in techniques where competent.
  • Attend meetings as required to discuss scope of work and project progress.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline, such as pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, chemical engineering, or chemistry.
  • Significant relevant experience may be considered in lieu of educational qualifications.
  • Fundamental knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques and qualification/validation of analytical equipment in a GMP setting.
  • One to four years' experience in pharmaceutical product analysis and/or manufacturing within a group organization.
  • Competent in authoring quality documents based on templates.
  • Competent familiarity with scientific instrumentation and applications.
