Role Overview
The Export Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion in the construction, chemicals, and building materials sectors. This role will involve identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and managing existing relationships to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Analysis and Research
- Monitor market pricing globally and provide regular reports to the leadership team
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities
- Business Development
- Develop new partnerships with distributors and expand existing relationships
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction, chemicals, and building materials sectors
- Travel and Communication
- Manage and undertake overseas travel as required (approximately 2-3 times a quarter)
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
- Competitor Analysis
- Conduct competitor analysis in targeted regions to stay ahead of the competition
Requirements
- Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in export sales, preferably in the construction, chemicals, or building materials industries
- Skillset
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proactive and dynamic personality with a 'can-do' attitude
