About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our Water and Utilities team in Cardiff. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions to challenging engineering dilemmas.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and develop new and replacement potable water mains
  2. Conduct foul drainage and CSO remediation work
  3. Develop conventional and urban drainage designs
  4. Solve complex engineering problems

Requirements

  1. Relevant Civil Engineering degree (Masters desirable but not essential)
  2. At least 3 years of experience in the water industry
  3. Knowledge of potable, surface, and foul water design and/or construction
  4. Working towards or be willing to work towards Chartership
  5. Proficient in 3D design and modeling using MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage
  6. Knowledge of Water Authority approval processes (i.e. S104, S106)
  7. Able to manage workloads effectively and efficiently to meet deadlines
  8. Able to work independently and as part of a team
  9. Methodical, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
