Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse

Location: Newport, Gwent

Job Type: Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our forward-thinking practice near Newport.

The role is a permanent position, working full-time hours, Monday-Friday from 8am-6:45pm across 5 days with no weekend commitments or OOHs. This provides a unique and great work/life balance.

Our newly refurbished practice boasts a range of modern equipment, including X-ray, endoscopy, ultrasound, lab machines, and multiparameter machines. We also have a dedicated dental room, an x-ray & ultrasound imaging room, a double theatre, separate kennels, and cattery areas. There are 4 consult rooms, one being a dedicated nurse consulting room.

Our clinical team is made up of 4 Vets, two of whom are very experienced and are the practice Clinical Directors, they have 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses who are led by an experienced and strong Head Nurse and 1 experienced Veterinary Care Assistant. The clinical team are then supported by 4 dedicated Receptionists, 1 dedicated administration assistant and an experienced and friendly Practice Manager.

You will receive:

A competitive salary up to £30,000 per annum
