Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Escalator Service Engineer to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service, maintenance, and minor repairs of escalators in the region. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer or a candidate looking to start their career in the escalator industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs of escalators to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Respond to service calls and participate in the call-out rota
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve technical issues and improve service delivery
  • Conduct site visits to assess and address escalator-related issues
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty

Requirements

  • NVQ3 qualification in escalators or equivalent experience
  • Valid driving license (KONE van provided)
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of escalators and related systems
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills
