Rise Resourcing is seeking an experienced Retail Merchandising Specialist to join a leading retailer based in Birmingham. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and optimising product lines, monitoring market and competitor activity, and working closely with internal teams to drive sales and margin growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams to drive product line development and optimisation.
- Monitor market and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Work closely with warehousing, shipping, finance, and sales teams to optimise sales and margin.
- Review daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Contribute to supplier review processes to ensure high-quality products and services.
- Highlight and review stock management and flow to increase sales of high-performing lines and reduce less successful lines.
- Previous experience in retail merchandising is essential.
- High commercial awareness and strong numerical skills with the ability to analyse data.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office products, specifically Excel.
