Successful candidates will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of various agricultural machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Agricultural Service Engineer - Key Responsibilities- Ensure timely completion of all necessary documentation for efficient departmental operations.
- Manage supplier technical case submissions and ensure closure upon completion.
- Repair and maintain agricultural machinery and other equipment as required, including workshop tools.
- Demonstrate agricultural machinery to clients upon request.
- Perform any reasonable tasks as assigned by a supervisor or senior officer.
- Maintain the company-issued vehicle in good condition and report any issues to the Service Manager promptly.
- Handle the delivery and collection of items as needed.
- Participate in training programs as required by the company.
- Safeguard the company's reputation and prevent the misuse of its assets.
- Address inquiries and requests (written, verbal, or electronic) efficiently, ensuring high-quality service.
- Report any equipment faults or failures to a supervisor or senior officer.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the industry, demonstrating strong product knowledge.
- Possession of a valid Full Driving Licence.
- Hourly Rate: £16 - £19 (OTE with overtime potential between £40,000 - £90,000).
- Working Hours: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Overtime: Paid at 1.5x after 39 hours and 2x for hours exceeding 48 hours per week and on Sundays.
- Holiday Entitlement: 22 days plus 8 bank holidays.
- Company Vehicle Provided.
- Company Sick Pay available after 6 months of employment.
- Pension Scheme included.
