Compensation and Benefits

Salary: £23,795.20 plus Veolia benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week, flexible 9-hour shifts with 1 hour unpaid breaks

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and healthy environment for all personnel and visitors.
  • Conduct specialized cleaning tasks including operation of scrubber/dryer, spot carpet cleaning, high-level cleaning, and deep cleaning.
  • Manage waste disposal by emptying recycling and general waste containers.
  • Maintain cleanliness in controlled environments.
  • Restock kitchen and washroom supplies as needed.
  • Address any spillages promptly.
  • Handle unique cleaning challenges in sensitive environments.
  • Adhere to Veolia's Health & Safety policies, focusing on color coding, COSHH, and risk assessments.
Candidate Profile

Essential:
- Previous experience in a similar cleaning role
- Right to work in the UK

Desirable:
- BICSc Level 1 training
- Experience in large public facilities
- Knowledge of Blood Borne Pathogen risks
- Familiarity with BICSc recommended color coding and COSHH legislation
