We are seeking an innovative and passionate Curriculum Lead Educator to deliver Employability Skills and/or Digital Skills training to adults throughout Leicestershire, while enhancing the quality of Teaching, Learning, and Assessment within the curriculum.

Role Overview
The primary objective of this position is to be an exemplary practitioner who can foster effective and engaging learning experiences through high-quality instruction that promotes the development and advancement of all learners. As a Curriculum Lead Educator, you will oversee the planning and execution of educational programs and relevant support activities, develop outstanding resources, and employ teaching strategies that cater to diverse learner needs and backgrounds. Additionally, you will be required to complete necessary training and documentation related to the courses you facilitate.
This role operates on an annualized hours contract, totaling 843 hours across 44 weeks of the year, which includes all term time. Of the 843 hours, a minimum of 260 hours will be dedicated to face-to-face instruction. Our core delivery aligns with school term dates, although some evening classes may be offered. Specific hours can be discussed during the interview process.
An enhanced DBS check is mandatory for this position.
Candidate Profile
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A level 3 nationally recognized teaching qualification or equivalent
- A relevant and accredited subject qualification at the necessary level for the subject area (Digital Skills or Employability subject)
- Proficient functional skills (at least NVQ Level 2 or above in Maths, English, and ICT or evidence of competence)
- Experience in coaching and mentoring educational staff.
- Proficiency in using ICT for professional communication, including email and attachments, as well as familiarity with the adult learning platform (Virtual Learning Environment - VLE) both as a user and tutor.
We also expect you to demonstrate and provide evidence of these competencies during the selection process.
