Lead a Team of Veterinary Professionals

Highgate Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Clinical Director to join our team in Kendal, North West. As a Clinical Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of veterinary professionals in providing high-quality patient care and excellent client experience.

We are a close-knit team of 3 vets, 3 nurses, and support staff working in a first-opinion small animal practice on the edge of the Lake District. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients and excellent service to our clients.

We offer a competitive salary of up to £80,000 depending on experience, and a relocation payment of up to £5,000 and Welcome Bonus of up to £8,000. We also offer a range of benefits, including private medical insurance, enhanced family-friendly policies, and a cycle to work scheme.

We are committed to supporting the wellbeing of our staff, with initiatives focused on employee wellbeing and a Quality Improvement Programme. We also offer access to Vetlexicon, our online encyclopaedia provider, and a £1250 CPD allowance with 5 days paid pro rata.

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Director who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and excellent client experience. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of veterinary professionals in providing high-quality patient care and excellent client experience
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide exceptional care to patients and excellent service to clients
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the practice, including staff management and resource allocation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders to ensure excellent client experience

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Clinical Director or Senior Vet in a small animal practice
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and staff
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care and excellent client experience
  • Strong clinical skills, with the ability to provide exceptional care to patients
