About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to assist a 19-year-old gentleman who has Autism, a learning disability, and experiences anxiety. This role involves accompanying him on outings into the community and engaging him in activities he enjoys.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support with meal preparation, eating, and grocery shopping.
- Accompany him to appointments such as medical check-ups or therapy sessions.
- Assist with the care of his pets, including a cat, tortoises, guinea pigs, and a hamster.
- Transport him to school, work, college, social events, and sporting activities.
- Encourage his participation in leisure activities like football, darts, and cricket.
- Foster social interaction and friendships, promoting independence and well-being.
- Develop a strong and trusting relationship based on mutual respect and understanding.
- Assist with light gardening tasks.

Other Requirements
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with business insurance are essential for this role.
