About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Recovery Advisor to join our team at Southdown. As a key member of our Staying Well service, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals experiencing mental health crises to manage their wellbeing within the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide brief interventions to help individuals safely deescalate and manage their emotional distress
  • Support individuals to identify their needs and connect with local NHS/Community support services
  • Work autonomously to deliver high-quality support to clients
  • Collaborate with the Staying Well management team to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
  • Experience of working with individuals with mental health needs
  • Good understanding of local NHS/Community support services
  • High level of resilience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
