Electrical Supervisor Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Equans in Dungeness, Kent. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a team of electricians, facilitating project work, and ensuring the maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of electricians to ensure the completion of electrical projects and maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and implement effective working relationships with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards, as well as company procedures and policies.
  • Identify and report areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project definition documents, quality plans, and technical specifications.

Requirements:

  • Minimum City & Guilds / NVQ or HNC / HND Electrical Engineering qualification.
  • Proven knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and experience in managing contractors.
  • Previous work experience in the nuclear sector or industrial environment, specifically high voltage plant/equipment.
  • Ability to accurately produce and analyze electrical technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
