Job Title: Kitchen Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Blaenbaglan Primary School. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the lunchtime service and maintaining high standards of hygiene in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of high-quality meals to students
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and health regulations
- Support the kitchen team in setting up and clearing away equipment and tables
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements:
No formal qualifications are required, but you will be expected to undergo training in basic food hygiene and attend relevant courses. A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required for this role.
