We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team on a large commercial site in East London. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the site's mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general plumbing maintenance, including routine checks and repairs
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks to prevent equipment failure
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests to resolve issues promptly
- Monitor and adjust tap temperatures to ensure optimal performance
- Change filters and perform general electrical maintenance to prevent downtime
- Test and maintain fire alarms and emergency lighting systems
- Conduct Legionella risk assessments and implement control measures
- NVQ level 2 or 3 in a mechanical field
- NVQ electrical installation or 18th edition certification
