SAP Manufacturing Supply Chain Solution Architect

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP Manufacturing Supply Chain Solution Architect to join our team at Capgemini. As a key member of our SAP Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for overseeing complete SAP S4 and Cloud Platform solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Discrete Manufacturing implementation experience, including production planning and execution of machines, cars, planes, and trains, with configurable Bills of Materials (BoMs) and Routings.
- Leading key design decisions based on functional expertise in Product Definition, Inventory/Logistics/Transportation, Product Costs/Manufacturing Management Accounting, and SAP Supply Chain and IBP solution architecture definition.
- Supporting SAP Supply Chain and IBP sales growth targets, developing and expanding our go-to-market strategies and approaches.
- Representing Capgemini with clients and stakeholders, working with senior Engagement Managers, technical architects, and sales/delivery teams.
- Leading distributed teams to scope, scale, design, build, and test solutions for global deployment.
- Strong awareness of business requirements met by functional solutions, including SAP and third-party products.
- Hybrid working: working from various locations, including company offices, client sites, and home.
Requirements
- Commitment, flexibility, thought leadership, and a drive to expand knowledge in new technologies and industry focus.
- Comfortable managing complexity and ambiguity, giving clear advice and leadership to internal and external teams.
- Passion for working with clients, advising them on how to get the most out of their SAP technologies.
- Depth of consulting and functional experience working across SAP Supply Chain business processes, both in the digital core and wider applications.
- Track record of leading pursuits for SAP Supply Chain and IBP opportunities, from initial relationship building through to successful closure and delivery of the solution.
- Industry and business process knowledge in one or more of the following sectors: Aerospace and Defence, Machinery, Automotive, Transport, or Discrete Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of the strategic direction of SAP and related products, and how to architect those into leading supply chain solutions.
- Strong understanding of the SAP market and competition, with ability to help shape a deal and manage it successfully through internal processes.
