Hewett Recruitment is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to become a vital part of their energetic Finance department.

?? Employment Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
?? Work Arrangement: Hybrid working available after probation period.

Key Duties:

  • Maintain and regularly update the fixed asset ledger.
  • Reconcile cash flow and banking statements.
  • Prepare and file VAT and Goods and Services Tax (GST) submissions.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including prepayments, accruals, and depreciation calculations.
  • Oversee stock reconciliation for the UK and manage HSBC Import Funding.
  • Administer monthly profit and loss and balance sheet reconciliation documents.
  • Process invoices for AMEX, HSBC Corporate Credit Card, Facebook, and TikTok.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A collaborative team member with strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Solid business acumen and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in various financial software applications.
  • AAT qualification or equivalent is advantageous.
