About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Freight Account Manager to join our team at WR Logistics, a leading recruitment partner for the logistics industry. As a Freight Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing existing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales targets by managing an existing client base and creating new ones.
  • Collaborate with the team to formulate sales strategies for company growth and expansion.
  • Ensure all compliance with industry regulations is adhered to at all times.
  • Work with clients to understand their needs and provide original solutions.
  • Analyse customer feedback and make improvements based on this information to enhance service quality.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 Years' experience in a similar role working for a freight forwarder in the UK.
  • A strong, robust knowledge of the freight industry.
  • A clear, confident communicator able to clearly convey ideas and concepts (written & verbal).
  • Knowledge of Cargo wise software is desirable.
  • The ability to collaborate with the team and work autonomously.
  • The ability to use strategic, critical thinking to plan long-term business growth with top clients.
